About MZOO
MZOO makes sleep masks with molded cups that sit around your eyes instead of on them. The first one came out in 2018, and it is still the one most people start with.
What MZOO is
MZOO is a sleep mask brand, and only that. For 8 years we have made one kind of thing: a mask shaped like the face it goes on, with a dome over each eye, padding where the nose meets the cheeks and sides thin enough to lie on. A flat band of fabric presses on your lids and lets light in at the nose. Every MZOO mask is built against those two faults.
We measure our masks the way you would compare them: how deep the cups are, how much padding sits at the nose, how far the strap opens. Choose by those figures, not by a word on a box.
The three masks
The Contoured mask is where MZOO began: 13 mm cups, 22 mm of padding at the nose bridge, a strap from 19 to 28 inches, five colors, and a pouch and ear plugs in the box.
The Spacious mask has 18 mm cups for long lashes and extensions, a face shaped to the brow and cheeks, a piped edge and stitched seams that let it go through the washing machine. The Pro Breathable mask keeps the 18 mm cups and moves to a mesh face over honeycomb-vented padding, with a two-buckle strap, for people who sleep warm.
Who our masks are for
People who sleep when it is light: after a night shift, on a plane, in a dorm, in a city bedroom with a streetlight outside, next to a partner who reads late. People who sleep on their side and gave up on masks that dig into the temple. People with lash extensions who want nothing touching them at night.
A mask blocks light. It does not fix a sleep problem, and we never say it does. If you sleep badly for weeks, or wake tired however long you sleep, see a doctor: many sleep problems can be treated.
