Where the facts come from

Cup depths, nose padding, strap ranges, sizes and what is in the box come from our own product descriptions. Prices come from our scheduled catalog update.

Public health sources

Our guides lean on public agencies and national organizations: the CDC and its occupational safety institute NIOSH, the National Institutes of Health, the FDA and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Every source is opened and read before a sentence cites it, and the date we read it is printed with the source.

Ratings and photos

The star rating and the number of ratings on a mask come from shoppers at our retail partner, as of our last update. The colors of one mask share a pool of ratings, and we count each pool once.

Product photos and the film on our home page come from our own brand photography and videos. Where a photo carried a printed caption, we show the photo without it.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to lightsout@mzoostore.com. We fix facts first and note the change in the next catalog update.
